Collections

The use of money in the past 50 years has evolved from ancient to modern modes of payment. The collections comprise banknotes, coins, books, documents, photographs, gold bars and other objects which tell the story of money and banking in Nigeria and West Africa.

The Currencies of the World on display are from one hundred and two (102) countries, so if you can't find those of your country, do not despair as we welcome donations of currencies from countries not on display
